What's in my travel make up bag?

Hiii, today I thought I'd share the contents of my travel make up bag with you because I'M GOING ON HOLIDAY ON MONDAY!! But that also means that I won't be posting for 2 weeks so I'm very sorry!!

Anyway, here is my make up bag! I'm not sure where it's from, I had it as a present but it is so so so useful! It looks really small but there's so much room inside, it fits loads of stuff in!

The first thing in my make up bag is the buffing brush by Real Techniques. I prefer using this for foundation because it gives a really smooth finish for any of the foundation I use and it's super easy to use!

I'm also going to take this blusher brush from Wilko and I mainly use this for bronzer. It's really soft and it makes it really easy to apply.

I also use these two for my eyebrows. I find angled brushes are easier to use and they give a more natural look to your brows so I tend to use this.

This is the Anti-Ageing Shimmering Lip and Eye Screen from No7 and it's basically a sun cream to protect your eyes and lips. I've only used this twice I think but it's kept my eyes looking a lot healthier after being in the sun and my lips haven't chapped after either so I love it a lot!

This foundation is a little bit darker than my skin tone but it will work when I have and haven't got a tan! It's a really light foundation so it's really useful for night time when it's quite humid and I don't want a thick layer of foundation on.

I'm also going to take this concealer from No7. For a concealer, it has amazing coverage so in the day I'll just put this on rather than having a layer of foundation. In the heat, I find concealer stays on a lot better than foundation anyway so I'm definitely going to use this a lot!

This is definitely m favourite bronzer! It's from Bourjois and it's really subtle on your skin and it's not thick at all so it's very very useful! Obviously, I'll wear this at night if I'm going out!

On holiday I'm not much of a mascara wearer in the day so I'm just going to take this for the nights. This is definitely my favourite mascara, it's really easy to apply and I'm never left with lashes sticking together afterwards, it gives a really nice finish.

If I'm feeling like I need some thicker eyebrows, I will use this one by Collection. The lightest colour suits my eyebrows really well so this is definitely going into my make up bag!

Again, from Collection, I love this nude palette. The colours are really easy to wear for day or night so I thought this would be super useful to take with me. Plus it's not too big and you get 6 shades in it!

I'm also going to take these two from KIKO Milano, I absolutely love them. I'm taking these in case we're going somewhere nice and I fancy going for a more darker look.

I'm also going to take a few lipsticks, obviously so I have a bit of choice depending on what I'm wearing or what make up I'm wearing. I can guarantee I will end up taking a lot more but these are the ones I'm definitely taking!

I hope you enjoyed this! Hopefully it will help you decide what to take if you're or if you're just looking for new make up!

Toodle pip, I shall see you in 2 weeks!!

KIKO Milano

Hiii! Firstly, I must apologize for not posting in about 3 years but I have a very good reason! If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you will know that I've been in Berlin and Krakow so I haven't had a lot of time to post. But I'm back now so it's all good!

'Did you have a nice time?' Thank you for asking, yes I did.

Anyway, whilst I was off in Berlin, I found a cute little make up shop called KIKO. I may be really behind with buying products from this shop but this was a very new experience for me. I'd been in there about 10 seconds and I'd already fell in love with it. Personally, I see KIKO very similar to MAC but a lot, lot, LOT cheaper!

I was then even happier because I found out they have an online store. I can buy things from here whenever I like. You don't understand how happy I am.

Anyway, since I fell head over heels in love with this shop, why not post about it?! Here are the things that I bought from my little trip to KIKO! ENJOY!

The first product that I picked up is this lipstick for £6.90. It's the Velvet Mat Lipstick in the shade 602 Natural Rose which is a sort of nude/light brown.

I also picked up 2 Cream Crush Eyeshadows in the shades 03 Mat Light Mahogany and 08 Pearly Dark Brown which were £6.90 each.

This is the shade 03 Mat Light Mahogany and it's a very similar colour to the lipstick so it's a very light brown/nude.

And this is the shade 08 Pearly Dark Brown and obviously it's a dark brown/black with shimmer in it and I'm so so so excited to use this!

I also picked up this highlighter which I got in the shade 01 Cream. I've always been unsure about highlighters, not really sure why but oh well. Anyway it was only £5 so it was very hard to leave it there!

Lastly I bought the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in the shade 04 Golden Chocolate, which is very self explanatory and this was £6.90.

I hope to get a lot more from KIKO, it's such an inexpensive shop for the quality of products that they sell so I'm definitely looking forward to using these and trying new ones!

I hoped you enjoyed this!

Daily Makeup Removal/Skincare *Updated*

Hiii, today I have my makeup removal and my skincare routine for you! Sometimes I get quite bad skin at weird and random times so I worked really hard to try and put together something that would work for when I have bad skin and for when I don't. I'm really happy with it at the moment so I thought I'd share it with you!

The first thing that I do is wipe any eye make up off using this remover from Simple. I've always been quite wary with using eye removers so I've always just used water. But I'm so glad I got out of that mindset, they are so good! I love this one because, like it says, it's kind to eyes and obviously, you don't want anything harsh on your eyes. I definitely recommend this!

To get rid of the rest of my make up, I use this Facial Wash Gel, again from Simple. If I did a 'Favourites' post every month, I guarantee that this would be there every month, it is incredible! I did a post about this a few months ago so I won't go into detail but if you're interested in this, go and check out my other post!

Lastly, again from Simple, I use their Toner. I'm so glad I picked this up because one, it's good for getting any remaining bits of make up off and two, it makes refreshes my skin, especially in the morning. I know quite a few people are unsure about toners, as was I, but I honestly think this one is so incredible for my skin.

While I'm on the subject of Simple, on their website they have a section called 'You and Your Skin' and if you go on that, it directs you to start a questionnaire. It asks you a bunch of questions about your skin and your skincare routine and it comes up with ways in which you can improve certain bits. It also gives you a lot of information about each part of getting good skin. If you're unsure about what you're doing wrong or you just want more information about your skin, then I'd definitely check this out! It's helped me so much!

After taking my makeup off, I will use these pads from Avon. They are small pads, just a little bigger than a 2p coin and they are amazing! I just take about 5 minutes and gently rub them over my skin and they leave my skin feeling amazing and refreshed. I can't really describe how good they are or what it's like afterwards, it's just one of them things you have to try to really understand how good they are.

After I've wiped all of my make up off, I use this moisturizer from Nivea. I love it so much! It's so light and it has SPF 15 so what more could you want?!

I thought I'd show you this because it's so affordable but the products last ages anyway so you don't really spend a lot. Anyway, I hope you liked it!

Alys' Birthday Shenanigans!

Hiii, bit of mixed emotions towards last week but it was all good in the end because yesterday it was ALYS' BIRTHDAY PARTY!! We went to Frankie and Benny's and then we went to the cinema to watch Jurassic World!

Here we are! Don't we look dashing.

Anyway, Frankie and Benny's was really really nice! If you haven't been to F&B's, you should go, the food is amazing and the waiters are always so lovely! In F&B's, if you're there for a birthday, you can take your own cake and after your meal, they bring it out for you. HOWEVER, they turn all of the lights off and play 'Happy Birthday' and then the whole restaurant sings to you, which is so cute! You should definitely go there for that reason, it's wicked!

So, we got Alys a cake and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. Alys, you're welcome.

We also went to watch Jurassic World which was absolutely incredible! (I'm watching Jurassic Park as we speak.) The way that they've made the film, especially with the effects and making everything look so real is amazing, you'd actually think they actually filmed it with dinosaurs! I'm pretty sure everyone's a fan of Jurassic Park so I definitely recommend going to watch the new one!

Naturally, because it was a party, we did take a LOT of pictures. So I just got everyone to send me them and I went through them and picked out the best ones so here you go!

There you go, a little insight into my day I suppose! Hope you liked it!

Oh, and if you go and see Jurassic World...Enjoy!

:) xx
