My Favourite Summery Beauty Products

Hiii, I'm officially back this time and I am beyond excited to post this, I have waited so so SO long.

I decided, as it is July and supposedly Summer, to share my favourite summery products with you. This is the time of year where the majority of people jet off on holiday, and whether you go abroad or decide to stay in good 'ol blighty, this may help you out with what to take in your make up bag. ENJOY!

I've only started using this product for the last month or so and I absolutely love it. It is the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Instant Power Primer which is priced at £10. I ordered this accidentally when I did a huge make up shop online and when I received it, I was on two minds whether to send it back or not but I just fancied giving it a go one morning and I am so glad I did.
I am highly prone to oily skin and trying to control that throughout the day is a nightmare. Personally, powder alone does not help drastically with my oily skin, even if I touch up throughout the day. This, however, solves everything. It's a really lightweight gel that sits perfectly on top or under make up. Wearing it under gives a flawless base as it helps to smooth out your skin. Wearing over increases the protection against oily skin. It's so easy to just to touch up throughout the day in order to keep your make up in place as well, which personally, I find my make up staying on a lot longer. It's an incredible dual purpose product which comes at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who hates oily skin.

My current everyday foundation and one that I am so happy to be able to use throughout summer if I need to is the Revlon ColourStay Foundation which is £6.99. For everyday I am a lighter shade but for summer I use this foundation in 180 Sand Beige for Combination/Oily Skin. This isn't too much darker but it just gives a really nice tanned/bronzey look. It is medium coverage but is definitely buildable. It's super lightweight and I find it's impossible to make it look cakey and thick so it's definitely something I'd recommend if you're looking for a summer foundation or one for all year round.

I also recommend these two. These are the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which is £4.19 and also the No7 Match Made Concealer which is £7.50. If i put foundation on, I'll use the Collection one for conceal any blemishes and use the shade 'Fair' to brighten my under eye areas. This concealer is such high coverage and for someone who has quite dark circles, like me, this product is amazing for concealing them and helping to brighten instead.
The No7 concealer is what I use as a replacement for foundation. Especially when I'm on holiday, I don't want a lot of make up so I find that a bit of this concealer over any blemishes just gives me that little bit of coverage which I don't need to top up during the day. I find it's a lot easier to manage, we know how hot it gets, we all sweat so I just feel more comfortable wearing something lightweight without having to worry about it coming off.

My eyebrows look absolutely terrible when I don't do them, they have absolutely no shape and they just look hideous. I normally use a powder which is quite dark and personally, I didn't want them to be like that everyday especially if I'm not wearing a full face of make up. I find that the Soap and Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil and Brush (£8.00) does a perfect job in the summer. For everyday wear in the summer this is perfect, it's super light and it's easy to use. I don't want a lot of fuss when I'm on holiday and I know this is going to help make my eyebrows so much neater without standing out too much.

Personally, I like wearing mascara even when I'm not wearing a lot of make up. During summer, it's hot, it's sweaty, you might go swimming etc, wear waterproof mascara. I've only just learnt that I need to do this, I don't know why I haven't realised before but better late than never I guess. This one from Max Factor (It's the False Lash Effect Mascara at £10.99) is just one that I really like. This mascara adds volume and gives subtle yet long, glamorous lashes.

We all like a bit of contouring, highlighting and bronzing and one product that is perfect for all 3 is the Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit from Barry M which is £6.49. I love this trio so much, I use it every single day. The highlighting shade is more brightening than highlighting I'd say but for me I prefer that. It gives a really subtle brighten, which works exceptionally under the eyes.
The bronzing powder, which is just as good, gives a really subtle bronzey glow to your skin and also adds a warm colour.
The contour colour, is my absolute favourite as far as contoring goes wether it's in the summer or not. It's a cool toned contour powder which when it's applied gives a subtle contour.

I really hoped you enjoyed this, I absolutely loved writing it. It's so good to be back blogging again! Let me know what you think, I'd really really appreciate it! Pampering

Hiii, I've been ill today and I decided to have a pamper so I took a bath! I received a lot of bath and 'pamper' products for Christmas but I never sorted them out...(Sorry if you bought me bath things!) so I decided to do it today so I could put them in my bath! Because I got them for Christmas I'm not too sure where they're from so if you know, tell me! Anyway, here we go!

(Products are from left to right.)

Firstly, these are from The Pampery and they are the Body Mist and Body Lotion. The body lotion has been sat on my desk since Christmas and I've only just figured out how to open it... Anyway, I've used the Body Mist before and it smells gorgeous!

These are from Ted Baker and they are Body Wash, Bath Foam, Body Spray and Body Soufflé. They have a really rich smell but it's absolutely gorgeous! I love the soufflé so much, I love the way it feels on my skin. With most lotions and soufflés, I never really feel the benefit of it a few hours later but I do with this, it lasts a while.

These are everyone's favourite: Soap & Glory! They are 'The Scrub of your Life' Body Butter, Hand Food Hydrating Hand Cream, 'Clean On Me' Shower Gel and the 'Righteous Butter' Body Moisturiser. I'm not going to say much about these because you know for yourself how amazing these are!

These are from the 'Along Came Betty' collection which  I know you can get from Tesco. They come in this set and you get the 'Shimmer Me Softly' Bath Crystals, 'Cream of all Creams' Body Lotion, 'Hands that do Wishes' Hand Lotion, 'So Much Bubble' Bath Soak and the 'Say You Scrub Me' Skin Buffer. One of the reasons why I love this collection is because of the little messages they put on the bottle - on the bath soak it says: 'Use of this product can result in neglect of household chores.' How cute are they though?!

My Nan got me this set from The Body Shop which includes Body Lotion, Fragrance Mist and Shower Gel all of which are in the scent Japanese Cherry Blossom. I was a bit skeptical at first about trying Japanese Cherry Blossom, I thought it was a weird scent but it is one of the most amazing smells EVER. I cannot describe how amazing the smell is, you have to try it!

Lastly, is the One Direction Our Moment Shower Gel which you can get from Boots, Superdrug and probably most stores actually. This is quite expensive so I tend to use this for parties/special occasions. It smells a lot like the perfume so it's really useful wearing them both because it lasts a lot longer!

I hope you enjoyed this! Like I said, if you know where I can get these from, let me know and if you want anymore information on them, then leave me a message!

Haul

Hiii, today I have another haul for you. I bought some really nice things the other day so I thought I'd share them with you!

The first thing I wanted to show you is these jeans. They are from Next and you can get them for £28.  I saw these as soon as I went in and I immediately fell in love with them! The thing that drew me to them was the zips, they just look so cool!

Next, is this jumper from New Look for £14.99. It says 'Nothing To Wear' and it comes in white and grey I think, but you can also get t-shirts and vest tops. I think it can actually go with anything, it's so easy to wear, I love it!

One of my favourite things that I bought was this book by Tanya Burr which you can get for £7 from ASDA. I have to admit that I haven't actually read all of this yet but what I have read of it is amazing!! It goes through things that girls will need to know about make-up, hair, love and lots more things. I think it's a really good book to ave, especially as a teenager.

I've done a separate post about this so I'm not going to go into too much detail so go and check that out if you like! But this is the Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel which you can get for about £3 from Boots, Superdrug, etc.

Next I have Kodaline's new album 'Coming Up For Air.' Personally I think it is completely different from the last album, 'In A Perfect World' which I absolutely loved but who wants two albums that are the same? I definitely recommend giving this a listen!

This is the Pantene Extra Strong Hold Hairspray. I have been out of hairspray for about 3 months, every time I went out I completely forgot about buying new hairspray so thank God I remembered this time. Plus, it works like a dream. It's one of the best hairsprays ever.
This is a bit off topic but this hairspray spells like something but I don't know what so if you have this and you recognise the smell, let me know. Cheers :)

This has to be my favourite thing I bought! It is the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and you can buy this from Debenhams for £38. I cannot tell you how long I have wanted this but now I've got it so it's all good! When I've tried it properly I will definitely do a whole post on it like I did with the other one so keep an eye out for that!

I hope you enjoyed this! Let me know if you want things like this again and remember to follow and tell your friends! (You don't have to but it would be nice).

First Impressions

Hiii, today I have a first impressions post for you on the Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. I've only tried it once, obviously, but I love it so much already so I thought I'd share it with you!

Before I start, I should probably mention that you can get this from many high street stores like Boots, Superdrug, etc and it's about £3, depending where you get it from.

Like I said, I bought this yesterday and I love it for 2 reasons. The first being it is light. Usually, I can feel the products on my skin afterwards but with this, you can't. I have tried many products like this that have been thick and you know it's on your skin. I find it really refreshing and it's really easy and simple to use.

The second reason is that it makes my skin feel clean. If you suffer with acne, you know that it's difficult to make your face feel and look clean. But this does both of those things. My face hasn't felt properly clean in about 2 months and as soon as I used this, it was the cleanest it's felt and looked in a long time.

I would honestly recommend this to anyone, especially to someone with spots/acne. You use a little bit at a time and for £3, you can't go wrong. It's definitely worth a try!
