Naked3 Palette from Urban Decay

Hiii, today I have a review/opinion on the Naked3 Palette from Urban Decay! I think it's such a gorgeous palette and I think it'll be really useful for the summer so I thought I'd do it now as it's getting a little bit warmer!

I always keep them in the boxes. One, because they're a lot easier to get them to stand when they're in the box. And two, I think they look really pretty, it's too nice to throw away!

From left to right: STRANGE, DUST, BURNOUT, LIMIT, BUZZ, TRICK, NOONER, LIAR, FACTORY, MUGSHOT, DARKSIDE, BLACKHEART.

I absolutely love this palette, you can use it for so many different occasions and it always looks gorgeous! I mainly wear mine for school, when I go shopping or if I'm going out but I'm wearing a really dark lip. I think I'm going to love wearing it in the summer a lot. The shades are so light and I think with minimal make up in the summer, I think it will look amazing!

STRANGE: Personally, I use this for highlighting under my eyebrow if I'm going out at night, it makes the eyeshadow stand out more with it.

DUST, BURNOUT, LIMIT, BUZZ: These are the colours that I will wear for school sometimes. They're so light so you can wear it without it looking like you've gone over the top, especially for school. LIMIT is actually a matte whereas the other three have a more glittery base, especially BUZZ.

BUZZ, TRICK, NOONER: I probably wear these for going out for shopping or something. I know I've mentioned BUZZ twice but I'll wear it for both occasions. It's quite obvious when you're wear them but they're not in your face especially just for shopping, they're so useful! NOONER is also a matte and it's such a gorgeous colour, I'd have to say this is my favourite in the palette.

LIAR, FACTORY, MUGSHOT, DARKSIDE, BLACKHEART: These are obviously your 'night' colours, when you're going to a party or for a meal, something like that. I absolutely love love love BLACKHEART! I think it's a really dark brown but with a hint of black and it looks amazing when you're wearing it with MUGSHOT and LIAR.

As always, the pack comes with a crease and shadow brush and comes with four primer testers in the shades ORIGINAL, EDEN, SIN and ANTI-AGING which work so so so well!

All of the colours last so long, you don't have to worry about them losing their colour or anything while you're out. I have used this palette so many times and there is no marks in the palette to say I've used it yet, it's amazing!

You can get these from Debenhams or online at Urban Decay and they cost £45. I would also check out the mini version of all three, I presume they're going to be useful if you're travelling and you don't fancy taking the full one.

Haul // Liverpool and Chester

Hiii, today I have another hauuuuuul! I've been shopping quite a bit recently and I've bought loads, especially clothes! I haven't put the clothes in this, I might do a completely different post for them so these are the remaining things that I have bought!

From Topshop I bought this absolutely gorgeous purple matte nail varnish. I have been looking for a matte colour for ages so obviously, I bought this when I saw it. It was £6 as well which is really good!

I also bought this ring which was from H&M, it was on sale for £1! I quite fancied it as a mid ring so I got a really small size but I think they went up to large so you could wear it however you liked.

In Liverpool, they have a Kardashian Beauty pop-up shop but because it's closing down very soon, everything was half price! So I got this for £10! I picked up this lip set called 'In The Buff' which includes lip liner, lipstick and a lip gloss. I absolutely love the colour, it's a really natural brown tint and it looks a absolutely stunning!

I also bought some Apple Earbuds. I got some for Christmas but I think in about March, I dropped the right one in a cup of tea and didn't realise so it was there for a good few hours and the ear bud was absolutely soaking. It is incredibly annoying having only one working headphone so I treated myself to a new pair!

REAL TECHNIQUES BRUSHES. If you haven't seen the full collection of the Bold Metals Collection, seriously go and have a look, they are the prettiest brushes I have ever seen! They are quite expensive but just look at them! I had a £20 voucher for Boots so I was able to get both of these for £7! I got the 201 Pointed Crease brush which was £12 and the 200 Oval Eyeshadow brush which was £15. The Bold Metals has to be my favourite ever collection of brushes, they are stunning and Real Techniques brushes are so long lasting so you definitely get your moneys worth!

This is definitely my favourite thing! In Liverpool there is a Beauty Bazaar/Harvey Nichols shop. First things first, the shop is stunning. Basically, it's a big shop full of little shops like MAC, YSL, Chanel, Tom Ford, Jo Malone and so many others! If you're ever in Liverpool, go and take a look around, it's a gorgeous shop!

Anyway I had a £20 voucher for Christmas so I put £5 to it and I treated myself to a YSL lipstick. I have never felt so posh in my entire life. The lad that worked there put it on me to try and I think I came home about 3/4 hours later and it was still on incredibly well so I'm so glad I bought it. I've been looking for a red for ages and I saw it and it was like 'THAT'S THE ONE!'

I got the Rouge Pur Couture in 64 Fuchsia Danger. It is a bit pricey (£25) but if you have a voucher, it's a really nice treat!

P.S even the bag's nice!

How gorgeous is the case?!

I hope you enjoyed it, let me know if you have any questions!

Magic Minerals by Jerome Alexander Review

Hiii, before I start I need to say that I'm only going to be posting every Friday or Saturday for a couple of weeks. I have a lot of revision to do and exams in May so I haven't got a lot of time to post!

Anyway, today I have a post about the Magic Minerals by Jermone Alexander. I bought it a few weeks ago but I wish I'd bought it sooner, it is absolutely amazing!

Sometimes I have those days where I don't want to put a lot of make up or I'm feeling a bit lazy. However not everyone feels comfortable going out without make up, I am definitely one of those people. A few months ago I saw an advert on TV advertising these and I never really believed that it could work that well but my mum thought it was worth a try.

Magic Minerals is honestly one of the best things I have ever bought. It's a really light powder which is a good substitute for liquid foundation. When I wear it, I don't feel like it's on my skin which is amazing.

There are four main things that the powder does which are represented by four different colours: Purple, pink, yellow and green. The purple corrects sallow complexions, pink conceals dark circles and helps to even out your skin tone, yellow helps to brighten the skin and green reduces the redness in your skin and covers breakouts.

Also, Magic Minerals comes with a professional stubby brush and a flat sponge. Personally, I think the brush makes the powder go on a lot more natural but I prefer brushes anyway so it's entirely up to you.

I was never one to go out without much make up on before but now I can and it's amazing! On the adverts, it says that Magic Minerals is not going to make your skin better, it covers sit without using so much make up so just remember that if you buy it!

You can get Magic Minerals from High Street TV or Argos. I don't know anywhere else that does it but it's £9.99 from either shop.

If you have any questions, leave them below or tweet me etc and I will answer them if I can!

Happy Easter!

Hiii, sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I've been revising so I've struggled to find enough time to blog! Anyway, today I spent the day baking little cakes ready for Easter so I thought I'd show you them!

Anyway, first I made Rice Krispie cakes so I melted a whole bar of this cooking chocolate. If you put a bowl of the chocolate resting over a pan of boiling water on the stove, it will melt a lot quicker. And leave it until it is completely melted.

Then, add the Rice Krispies. The more Rice Kripsies, the more cakes. After mixing it all together, put the mixture into some cake cases. It's entirely up to you how much you fill the cases.

To add a bit of decoration I used the Dr Oetker Hundreds & Thousands and the Dr Oetker Chocolate hearts which come in a pack with milk and white chocolate. I added these before the mixture dried because they will stick a lot better.

Next I made some fairy cakes. I'm not very good at making my own mixture so I cheated and used this packet from Tesco which you can use for little fairy cakes or a big sponge cake. All you have to do with this packet is add an egg and water and mix until it's smooth.

Again, it's entirely up to you how much you fill the cases. After filling them I remembered I had some coconut so I just sprinkled some coconut on some of them and mixed it in with a spoon.  I then let these cook for about 20 minutes at 180˚. After they come out, stick a knife in the middle to check that they're cooked properly.

Whilst they were cooking and cooling, I made some butter cream by using the Silver Spoon icing sugar and some butter. I can never remember whether you have to add a drop of water so I did anyway just to be safe!

I then piped the butter cream onto the cakes and added some more decoration. I used Wafer Daisies, Chocolate Flavoured Strands and Chocolate Silver Pearls all from Dr Oetker.

After decoration, just leave them to rest for about 20 minutes/half an hour just so they set properly.

I hope this was useful! If you decide to have a go at making these, send me a picture through Twitter, Instagram, email or in the comments below. All of the links are in the 'Contact Section' above if you want to message me any pictures.

Happy Easter!!
