What I Had For My 17th Birthday!

Hiii, as some of you may know it was my birthday on Thursday so I thought I'd share what I had with you! I've had so much nice stuff this year and I would be here a while if I listed everything so I've narrowed it down a bit so I'm really sorry if you got me something and it's not here!

From Alys, I got this gorgeous charm from Warren James for my Pandora! Including this one I've only got 3 charm on my Pandora so it looks so nice because it's not overcrowded and it just looks so nice!

She also got me this personalised Cadbury's chocolate bar which says 'Happy Birthday' on the front and 'Lozza, have a wonderful day!' on the back with a little picture of us from Prom last year. I absolutely love it, it's so cute!

And I also had some shower gel and body lotion from The Body Shop and a cute little rose bath bomb which smells amazing!

I had some bath caviar which is like little bath salts and this cute little key ring from Amber! I do love a bath so I'm excited to try the caviar! And the key ring is absolutely adorable! I also had 2 pens and some Thornton's chocolates!

From Sam, I had this beautiful necklace with an 'L' on and a little plaque that says 'Dream until your dreams come true.' I love little plaques like this so thank you! I'm also obsessed with London so she got me a box which is decorated with Big Ben and Union Jacks. Also, she got me London notebook, again decorated with London inspired things!

Kendal got me this candle from Wax Lyrical which is in Wild Honeysuckle and it smells absolutely amazing! You don't even have to light it and the smell is so strong. Kendal also got me a notebook which is going to be so useful, obviously for school next week.

Rhiannon got me the cutest little bag from Newlook! It's such a gorgeous colour and it's a really nice size, I love it!

My little cousin made me this key ring with One Direction on and when she gave it to me she said 'Sorry, I didn't know whether to leave Zayn out or not.' She's so cute, bless her! She also got me this set of earrings which I love and 3 rings which I love also! El also got me a Juicy Couture gift set which includes a make up or wash bag, nail sheets, body lotion, perfume and shower gel I think! I absolutely love it, they all smell amazing!

Lastly, these are from my parents! A few months ago, they gave me a camera (It was the Nikon L330!) which was for my birthday but I had a few things coming up which they thought I might as well use my camera for so they gave it me early!

I've been going on and on and on about getting a nice watch but all of the ones I've seen there's always been something putting me off so they decided to chance it and get me one for my birthday! And honestly, it's the nicest one I've seen and I love it so much! I've got a bit of an obsession with rose gold so obviously the watch is in rose gold!

This is the new One Direction perfume called 'Between Us.' Personally, it's my favourite of them all, it smells absolutely incredible and the bottle and the packaging are so pretty as well!

I picked this out myself from H.Samuels a few weeks ago! And again, of course, it's in rose gold.

Lastly, this is by far my favourite present I think I've ever had. EVER. It's a signed Leigh Halfpenny photo which says: 'To Lauren Beaumont, Happy Birthday, I hope you have a great day' with his signature underneath. I think this is absolutely incredible! WOW. PS it's going in a frame.

I also had quite a lot of money this year which I wasn't expecting at all and I had also had a bunch of flowers actually from my Nana which are so lovely!

Thank you to everyone who gave me a present, you didn't have to get me anything at all! And for all the money, thank you so much! I have no idea what to spend it on!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Also, rememeber to follow me on Bloglovin if you have a minute!

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Hiii today I thought I'd share my thoughts on Harper Lee's 'To Kill A Mockingbird.' I started reading this whilst I was on holiday but when I came home, it did get put on the sideline but fortunately I managed to finish it on Wednesday!

For a while now, To Kill A Mockingbird has been a book that I've always wanted to read and has been on the list of 'must read before I die.' With 'Go Set A Watchman' being released not long ago, I thought 'Why not read it now?' So I did. And it is honestly one of the best books I've ever read.

90% of the time with a book, at the beginning I'll struggle to fully engage with all the characters and I feel like there's something that I'm not quite understanding about the characters or the plot. With this book, it was completely different. At the beginning on Part One, you're introduced straightaway to the main characters and you learn so much about their past in the space of a couple of pages. I think that's what makes the book so good because you remember their past throughout the book, making it easier to understand.

This book is so important, from when it was written and even now. The main thing that captures my attention, and probably many others is the fact that it deals with adults and childrens attitudes towards racism, equality and class. It's common to see either an adults or child's view but to have them both running along side each other is such a powerful tool.

The characters in the book are quick to point fingers and you realise during the trial at the end of the book that they were all falsely accusing an innocent man because of his roots. There's only 4 people in the book who stand up for this man, two of whom are children. The book is so open to the fact that children haven't listened to everyone else and they've made their own judgement on this innocent man. I think that's what is missing in today's society, people are too quick to judge.

There's also something beautiful and magical about the way one of the children, Scout Finch, treats a certain character in the book, Arthur Radley. If you've read the book, you'll understand exactly what I mean. Despite what everyone says about Arthur Radley, the first time she meets him, she puts all of the gossip to one side and gets to know him from her own judgement. I can't really explain the scene because it just wouldn't do the book justice.

Whatever I write about this book isn't going to do it justice because the book is absolutely exceptional and unique.

I can't explain how much this book opens your eyes to new things and that's one of the main reasons why you have to read this book. If you haven't read it, GO AND BUY IT!

If you buy the book, enjoy!

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

Hiii, with the MASSIVE revelation as to who A is, I thought I'd do a PLL related post. Obviously, if you do watch PLL but haven't seen the finale, I suggest you don't read this!

Before I start, I want to ask you one teeny tiny thing: I've recently just registered with Bloglovin' so I would be very very grateful if you could go and follow me! Bloglovin' is a great website for anyone to discover thousands of different blogs from fashion to cookery. If you would like to follow me (Pretty pretty please), click the Bloglovin' button to the right! Thank you! :)

ANYWAY, PLL. OMG. A is CECE DRAKE. No one, and I mean absolutely no one saw that coming, did they? I honestly thought it was Wilden. He always seemed to be wherever the girls were and Marlene said that someone who we think is dead, is actually alive.

Personally, I think it was an incredible story line for CeCe to be A. It was such a shock ending and even though I would've liked to have been right, I think it made the show even better. Throughout the 6 series, there has always been a twist or a shock that none of us were expecting. So if it was someone like Wilden or Wren, I think it wouldn't have been such a big shock to us all.

HOWEVER, there are a few little things that I can't quite get my head around. For example, WHO KILLED MRS D? I thought it was Bethany but then we find out that Mona killed her the night Alison 'died' so I'm a bit confused.

Also, how did CeCe and Sara Harvey meet? Were they both in Radley? I don't know.

What was Jason's reaction when he found out he'd DATED HIS SISTER?

And, who is coming back for Alison in series 7?!

If you have any theories, please please PLEASE, let me know.

IT'S SO CONFUSING.

Anyway, remember to follow me on Bloglovin'! Hope you enjoyed!

Summer Make Up Look

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hiii, today I have 2 eye looks for you! I really love these make up looks and I find them really easy to wear in the summer but I have worn them a few times for school. They're really subtle but they make me look a bit fresher (especially useful during them early mornings!). The two looks are pretty much the same except there is an expensive and cheap choice for this look!

Firstly, the products that I used, not including the eyes:
Primer ( I don't think it cost this much?!)
Foundation  (I have mine in 180 Sand Beige)
Concealer (Mine is in Cool Medium - honestly the BEST concealer!)
For lips, I use any stick or gloss in a pale pink or pinky orange, like THIS (In Flirt)

For the eyes:

For the slightly more expensive version of this look, I used the Naked3 Palette.
I absolutely love it and the colours are perfect for summer!

DUST and BURNOUT are very similar so I start off by using either of them just to cover my lid.  They are both really shimmery colours so I take LIMIT and run it through my crease just to tone the shimmer down. And that's it. It's really simple and it looks effortless but amazing!

For the cheaper version, I use this palette from Peacocks. I think it's about £7. It's a lot cheaper but still gives near enough the same look!

For this one, I start off by using the second colour which is a pale cream and then I run the pink colour through the crease to add a bit of colour! And again, that's it!

I hope you enjoyed this! The looks are super super easy! If you recreate either of these, let me see! Tag me on Instagram/Twitter or send them to me by email!

Bleach London

Hiii, I'M BACK! I got back thursday afternoon so I didn't have much time to plan anything to post this week so I thought I'd give you a little bit of a review on Bleach London. If you follow me on Instagram, I posted a picture of me with the underneath of my hair dyed pink which I did using one of the products from Bleach London.

The colour I used was 'The Big Pink' which looked like a really rich and bright pink. I got this from Boots and I think it was £4 which I thought was really good!

The underneath of my hair has also been quite dark so I knew I wasn't going to get the best colour from it. However I thought it worked really well and I absolutely LOVED the colour of it!!

On the bottle, it says that the colour will wash out in about 2 to 10 washes and I think I've washed mine around 6 but I'm still happy with the colour that it is at the moment! You can't see properly on the photo but the colour is still noticeable in my hair!

Obviously I did the 24 hour test and I had no reaction to it at all so I gave it a go! When the colour was at its brightest and even now it's fading, there's no sign in my hair that it's been damaged by the product. There are a whole range of colours available to try at Bleach London and considering how well this one went, I'm very tempted to try other colours! It was super easy to do and they're perfect for holidays, festivals, or just if you fancy trying something different!

Let me know if you've used Bleach London and send me a picture of what your hair looked like, I'd love to see how well the other colours turned out!

Sorry this wasn't very long, I haven't had much time since I've been back! But I hoped you enjoyed it anyway!
