Daily Makeup Removal/Skincare *Updated*

Hiii, today I have my makeup removal and my skincare routine for you! Sometimes I get quite bad skin at weird and random times so I worked really hard to try and put together something that would work for when I have bad skin and for when I don't. I'm really happy with it at the moment so I thought I'd share it with you!

The first thing that I do is wipe any eye make up off using this remover from Simple. I've always been quite wary with using eye removers so I've always just used water. But I'm so glad I got out of that mindset, they are so good! I love this one because, like it says, it's kind to eyes and obviously, you don't want anything harsh on your eyes. I definitely recommend this!

To get rid of the rest of my make up, I use this Facial Wash Gel, again from Simple. If I did a 'Favourites' post every month, I guarantee that this would be there every month, it is incredible! I did a post about this a few months ago so I won't go into detail but if you're interested in this, go and check out my other post!

Lastly, again from Simple, I use their Toner. I'm so glad I picked this up because one, it's good for getting any remaining bits of make up off and two, it makes refreshes my skin, especially in the morning. I know quite a few people are unsure about toners, as was I, but I honestly think this one is so incredible for my skin.

While I'm on the subject of Simple, on their website they have a section called 'You and Your Skin' and if you go on that, it directs you to start a questionnaire. It asks you a bunch of questions about your skin and your skincare routine and it comes up with ways in which you can improve certain bits. It also gives you a lot of information about each part of getting good skin. If you're unsure about what you're doing wrong or you just want more information about your skin, then I'd definitely check this out! It's helped me so much!

After taking my makeup off, I will use these pads from Avon. They are small pads, just a little bigger than a 2p coin and they are amazing! I just take about 5 minutes and gently rub them over my skin and they leave my skin feeling amazing and refreshed. I can't really describe how good they are or what it's like afterwards, it's just one of them things you have to try to really understand how good they are.

After I've wiped all of my make up off, I use this moisturizer from Nivea. I love it so much! It's so light and it has SPF 15 so what more could you want?!

I thought I'd show you this because it's so affordable but the products last ages anyway so you don't really spend a lot. Anyway, I hope you liked it!

Alys' Birthday Shenanigans!

Hiii, bit of mixed emotions towards last week but it was all good in the end because yesterday it was ALYS' BIRTHDAY PARTY!! We went to Frankie and Benny's and then we went to the cinema to watch Jurassic World!

Here we are! Don't we look dashing.

Anyway, Frankie and Benny's was really really nice! If you haven't been to F&B's, you should go, the food is amazing and the waiters are always so lovely! In F&B's, if you're there for a birthday, you can take your own cake and after your meal, they bring it out for you. HOWEVER, they turn all of the lights off and play 'Happy Birthday' and then the whole restaurant sings to you, which is so cute! You should definitely go there for that reason, it's wicked!

So, we got Alys a cake and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. Alys, you're welcome.

We also went to watch Jurassic World which was absolutely incredible! (I'm watching Jurassic Park as we speak.) The way that they've made the film, especially with the effects and making everything look so real is amazing, you'd actually think they actually filmed it with dinosaurs! I'm pretty sure everyone's a fan of Jurassic Park so I definitely recommend going to watch the new one!

Naturally, because it was a party, we did take a LOT of pictures. So I just got everyone to send me them and I went through them and picked out the best ones so here you go!

There you go, a little insight into my day I suppose! Hope you liked it!

Oh, and if you go and see Jurassic World...Enjoy!

10 Years Time

Hiii, a few weeks ago Alfie Deyes and Will Darbyshire posted videos on YouTube about the future and left me with the question:

Where do you think you're going to be in 10 years time?

This question has never really entered my mind but since watching these two videos, it has left me very, very, very baffled. I'm only 16, but thinking of it, in 10 years time I'm going to be nearly 27 and by that time most people have their lives sorted. They have a really good, reliable job, a stable relationship and maybe even kids. To me, that's a really scary thought.

At school, you're taught to kind of know what you want to do when you leave school, whether it be college, university, a job, an apprenticeship etc. I leave school in a year and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do. 5 years ago, I was adamant that I was going to sixth form, university then I would find a job with the degree I had. Now, I'm completely against university. I feel like I've had no time to explore and get experience. Obviously, I've had holidays and gone for days out to places but I'd love to visit different places in the UK and see some of the landmarks. But is this irresponsible? Should I be going to uni and finding a job straight after? That would be the most mature thing to do but I just don't see myself enjoying it at all.

I think 10 years is a massive step, especially from my age and I just don't think I'm ready to fully answer it yet. There are always bumps in the road and they might affect the way you look at life and what happens so right now at such a young age, it's scary to plan that far ahead. My life has changed so much in the last 5 years so will it change again during the next 5? Maybe. I don't know what I want to do in a years time, never mind 10 so to me, I think that I need a few years to actually think about it. Obviously, I want a good job and one that I actually enjoy but other than that, I'm not sure where I stand.

I don't think there's anything wrong with not knowing, it just makes it a bit more of an experience. I'm lucking forward to the next few years of my life because I'll learn so much more by doing things for myself and going out and exploring different things.

So in response to the question, I honestly don't know. Life's so uncertain and you might as well just enjoy it while you can.

This might seem like a pointless post but I felt like I needed to write my thoughts down and not just have them floating around in my head. Let me know what your plans are for the future, maybe not 10 years but maybe a year or 5.

:) xx
